Zhang Haibin

ZHANG Haibin,Associate Professor of the School of International Studies, Peking University. He received his Ph.D. in 1998 from the School of International Studies, Peking University. His major research areas are global environmental politics and international organizations. He was the visiting scholar of Cornell University(2004), Niigata University(2001), Hong Kong City University(1998) and Korea University(1995).He is Director of the Center for International Organizations, Peking University, the member of Governing Council of China Society for Environmental Resources Law, and the adviser to the Ministry of Commerce, China on trade and environment issues. His major books include: International non-governmental organizations in global governance, (co-editor, 2004),.

International Regimes(co-author, 2002). His major articles are: “Environmental issues in Sino-Japan Relations”, Studies of International Politics, No.1, 2001. “Save the Earth: Changes Needed in International Relations”, Journal of Foreign Affairs, September, 1993. “On China’s Environmental Diplomacy”, Journal of Peking University, No.5, 1993.
