Felicia Mello is a graduate student in Journalism and Latin American Studies at the University of California at Berkeley. Her work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times Magazine, the Oakland Tribune, the St. Paul Pioneer Press and Salon.com, among others. Her story on a disappearing glacier in the Ecuadorean Andes won the 2006 Goldman Prize for Excellence in International Reporting. She has a B.A. in Politics from Oberlin College.
